SCOPE OF WORK: Remove water proofing membrane from the bottom and sides of the water fountain which contained asbestos.
VALUE ENGINEERING: The General Contractor provided a scaffold over top of theentire work area approximately 3000 sf. Luse installed poly walls andceiling to the scaffold to provide and air tight containment. CityInspectors visited the project site and were pleased to see the containmentwith negative pressure in place during removal. The final clean involvedgrinding the concrete to remove any residual adhesive and membrane left aftergross removal.
SUCCESS: Luse successfully completed all phases on time and safely.
